Once yous take them printed, the rest is easy: let kids color them in nevertheless they'd like and cut them out. Then apply a 1-inch punch to punch out the eyes (if you don't take a punch, y'all can allow kids cut the optics out with scissors – they won't expect as tidy, but the kids won't care). To finish, cut a strip of 1/4 inch rubberband to 15 inches and staple it to both sides of the mask.

I heard from lots of people who said the Halloween versions of these masks were a striking at their kids' classroom parties. What's really nice is that this is an inexpensive arts and crafts, fifty-fifty for an entire classroom of kids. The only cost involved is purchasing cardstock (if your school doesn't already have some), rubberband, and a 1 inch dial. I used ane/4 inch elastic, and a 15 inch piece was but right for each mask for elementary school age kids. (The i/four inch rubberband I purchased came in packages of 3 yards, which means y'all become 7 pieces from each pack. At about $ane.50 a pack, that ways rubberband will cost effectually $six for 28 masks.) This is the punch I used ($7.50 on Amazon, affiliate link).

The masks are like shooting fish in a barrel to make and low on the mess scale. We just used colored pencils, only you could use crayons, markers, or even paint, and and so add stickers or glitter if desired. Here'south quick video of the process:

I hope y'all enjoy them!
